Architectural Review Board (ARB) News

Reminders for maintaining Association standards for your home and our neighborhood:

DO:

  *   Keep your driveways and roofs free of mold & mildew

  *   Trim your palms, hedges and trees to prevent damage from hurricane winds and to allow head room above sidewalks

  *   Mulch your planting beds and plant something hardy in your mailbox planter

DON'T do any of the following without prior approval from the ARB:

  *   Make an exterior modification or renovation including repainting

  *   Make an addition, add a pool or an enclosure

  *   Cut down a tree, put up a fence, change your landscape

  *   When in doubt submit an ARB Form!

If you need to make an Application go to this link: https://pdf.ac/Xf8xX . Once completed, your application will automatically upload to the Brighton Woods ARB. If you have questions feel free to email Brie at: Brie@Tridentmgmt.com

Safety and Security Committee

The Security and Safety Committee is in the process of evaluating various methods for increasing protection for our community. This past month we had several conversations with security company representatives in an attempt to replace the sheriff's patrol that we have utilized in the past. Unfortunately, we don't see any alternative that would increase our security without requiring significant financial outlay.

The Committee is now in the process of looking at a variety of camera options that appear to be much more affordable than a patrol and possibly considerably more beneficial. We are hopeful that we will have more information available to you at our annual meeting on April 26th.

Landscape Committee

Workday! On Saturday April 23rd all are welcome to join the Committee and help out with some planting and grooming of the gardens around our front entrance. If you enjoy gardening or just want to hang-out with your neighbors swing by starting around 8:00 AM. We'll even throw in a few donuts!

Recent Landscaping Work - This past month Juniper Landscaping Company trimmed the crêpe myrtle trees at our entranceway and also trimmed back the Thai plants that were damaged by the recent frost. In addition, fresh sunpatient flowers were added at the entrance in four flowerbeds.
